Hey! I'm Calee 👋🏼 Owner and instructor at Creative Roots Music Studio. I'm here to make learning music as fun and as easy as possible. Over the last decade, I've taught hundreds of students, and I'm excited to share all of my tips, tricks, and love of music with you, too ☺️

My journey started with a family full of music. My dad a high school choir direct and mom a choreographer, music was literally all I knew growing up. And being one of 4 sisters, you bet we got those quartet performances locked in 😄

After earning my Professional Music degree, I set out to build a teaching studio where anyone could find their place in music. No matter your age, level, time commitment, genre you'd like to play, or how you'd like to learn.

Today, I'm proud to say Creative Roots has grown into a home for students from every walk of life, coast to coast. From preschoolers to retirees in private lessons, kids creating beats in Recording Lab, and adults learning piano and voice online - it's become a bigger community than my younger self could have ever dreamed of.

My teaching style? Chill, patient, and all about real music you love. Whether you’re just getting started, picking up an old hobby, or wanting to take your skills to the next level, I'm truly so excited that you're here.
