Recording Lab is a small-group music production course for kids who want to
create their own music using GarageBand on iPad.
This loop and beat-focused course requires no piano or music reading experience.
Students build songs by choosing instruments, shaping grooves, creating sections, and making vibe decisions (the fun stuff). We keep it creative, low-pressure, and confidence-first.

What age is this for?
Recording Lab is designed for kids ages 8–12.
Do students have to share their work?
Sharing is encouraged, but always optional. Students can participate at whatever level feels comfortable.
Will my child finish a song?
Yes. Every student will create and export an original instrumental track by Week 6 and gain skills to keep creating beyond the course.
Does my child need piano experience?
Nope. Recording Lab is designed for beginners and focuses on loops, beat-making, and creative exploration.
Spots are intentionally limited to keep the group supportive and focused.
Recording Lab helps kids explore sound, experiment with ideas, and create original music in a supportive studio environment.
