Calee's dream has always been to teach music to people from all walks of life in a way that's educational, fun, and inspiring. With her deep understanding of music and love for teaching, she'll take you step-by-step from not knowing what "quarter note" means to playing, recording, and writing the music of your choice!

Born into a family of musicians, Calee started singing, playing piano, and performing by the time she hit first grade. Throughout her childhood and grade school years, she studied a variety of instruments - piano, voice, guitar, ukulele, trumpet, baritone, and marching bass drum - establishing strong roots in her musical abilities. 

Calee went on to study music in college where she earned her degree in Professional Music from The School for Music Vocations in Creston, IA. After graduating, she was hired as a full-time music instructor at The School for Music Vocations and taught a variety of courses including Music Theory, Recording Studio, Vocal Jazz Ensembles, Concert Choir, Psychology of Success, and private lessons in Jazz Voice, Classical Voice, and Classical Piano.

 In 2017, Calee moved from small-town Iowa to Denver, CO to open a private lesson studio and to pursue her music career. She now teaches music full time to students across the country, spanning ages 4 to 80-years-old, and gets to share her love for music every single day. Truly, she is living a lifelong dream.
